Diggers Hotline at Husker Harvest Days
10/12/2009
Husker Harvest Days is considered by many in the equipment industry to be one of the top farm shows in the country. Digger’s Hotline of Nebraska has been a regular presence over the years at Husker Harvest Days due to the support from Source Gas and the many volunteers that work to provide safe digging education to the agricultural community in Nebraska.

Nebraska One Call Board Member, Lanna Machmuller with SourceGas, spearheaded the highly attended three day event held September 15-17 in Grand Island, Nebraska. Plenty of representatives were on hand at the Digger’s Hotline display to answer questions regarding The Nebraska One Call Notification Act, Digger’s Hotline of Nebraska and safe digging practices. Promotional items were handed out and all visitors were encouraged to register for a drawing in which they could win several items.

Drawing Prize Winners:
Jerod Epp of Gretna, NE - 2 Husker collapsible chairs and a Husker portable cooler.
Steve Thiessen of Henderson, NE – Battery Power booster.
Martin McKay of Spalding, NE - Digger’s Hotline red fleece jacket.

Digger’s Hotline travels many miles across Nebraska every year to provide education and outreach regarding the Nebraska One Call Notification Act and underground utility damage prevention. To schedule a FREE Digger’s Hotline Safety Workshop for your organization, contact Susan Lynch, Director of Digger’s Hotline at 402-334-3424.
